Kelly Burden with Contemporary Images Photography had the honor to photograph Christopher’s Christmas which returned this past December 6th and 7th to dance the ballet and warm the hearts of children and families for the 31st consecutive year.

A cast of more than 100 actors and dancers brought the heartfelt story (written exclusively for the Patchwork Dance) — of Christopher Mouse trying to rekindle the Christmas spirit in the Scrooge-trodden heart of his Great Uncle Mouse. Christopher’s Christmas is a mix of Ballet, tap, Jazz and modern style dance.
“It’s difficult for young children to sit through ballets not geared for them,” Werbrouck says. “This is geared for them. They can recognize the toy scene, recognize Raggedy Andy, recognize the china doll.”
